About
Hi! My name is Minna. My practice currently centres around painting transitory spaces from my daily life as a student in Glasgow, whether moments of pause in student flats or scenes featuring familiar landmarks, made strange - suspending the viewer between recognition and disorientation. Drawn to both the uneasily psychological spaces of Giorgio de Chirico and the memory-like expressivess of Pierre Bonnard, I aim to evoke generalised experiences of place, rather than windows onto specific realities.
